Pauline Ngunjiri

Pauline Waithira Ngunjiri, an award winning journalist (Best Reporter Kenya 1984. Awarded by Kenya Press Club) is a career journalist who relocated from Kenya her home country to the Caribbean in 2001  

Prior to settling in the Caribbean, Ms Ngunjiri had worked with the two most widely circulated newspapers in her country, The Daily Nation and the Standard.  As an employee of Trans World Radio she coordinated the production of a radio magazine program, "Africa Challenge" aired in 25 radio stations in Africa.  
Ms Ngunjiri has been actively involved in advocating for access to treatment and patient rights.  She was instrumental in establishing the Kenya Coalition on Access to Treatment and helped establish self-support groups for Persons Living with HIV.

Ms Ngunjiri, a passionate conservationist has used her media skills to promote fireless basket cookers and box solar cookers.While in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, Ms Ngunjiri has worked for The St. Kitts and Nevis Observer, The Leewards Times, SKNvybes and Newslink.  She is the media liason for Pink Lily Cancer Care.
